Who i am
Mayer Creative is an extension of my personal design journey. It hosts not only past and current projects, but it holds a few of my favorite things and inspirational content. It really took off in early 2025 when I decided to take the leap and get out into the community.
I grew up in San Antonio, Texas with an incredibly supportive family who allowed me to think and learn my own way. I was championed off to undergrad where I received a liberal arts education, longing for the day I could be a self-sustaining artist - I just wasn’t sure what it looked like.
After some time in international education, where I fulfilled my love of travel and discovering the world outside of Texas, I decided to return to design and enroll in architecture school. At the time, I had never been so happy learning the tools that ultimately shape our built environment. Learning the influence buildings and spaces had on our relationships, culture, experience… I knew there was something here. I currently reside in one of the firms in San Antonio, constantly growing my knowledge of how our lives are shaped by architecture.
After spending some time on the market circuit around town, I realized how much work and effort goes into being apart of that community. I want to build lasting relationships with small creators around the heart of Texas because I believe supporting local businesses and celebrating regional talent in our everyday spaces. I hope to continue growing and learning how all of my worlds can converge and dance with each other.

Core Values
-
I believe art is shaped by where it’s made. My work is inspired by local landscapes, regional culture, and the creative communities around us. Supporting regional art means honoring place, people, and process.
-
Creativity is a practice, not a finish line. I value curiosity, experimentation, and personal growth, which allows my work to evolve naturally over time (I’d like to think!).
-
I like to create with intention, prioritizing mindful sourcing, small-batch production, and reducing unnecessary waste.
-
My process centers presence, care and attention to creating pieces that are meant to bring reflection and meaning into everyday life.
-
I would love the opportunity to one day host other artists’ work on my website. Supporting fellow artists and creative communities that align with my values is a dream.
