Designing with Heart

Design with heart—start with you,
Not just what’s pretty, polished, new.
But what makes space a quiet friend,
A place to start, begin, transcend.

Is it calm or full of flair?
Does light pour soft or slice the air?
Does sound bounce loud on every wall,
Or hush to stillness when night falls?

Do candles bloom with gentle spice,
Or cracked windows let in morning ice?
Do couches hum with woven threads,
Or rugs catch stories where feet have tread?

Do rooms flow like thought or dream,
Layered light in a shifting stream?
Is it a nest, a launch, a dance,
A place for growth or just a chance?

Are you bold or deeply shy,
A thinker, feeler, flying high?
Do you host with joy or hide from noise,
Fill rooms with pets or silent toys?

Design is more than shape and line—
It’s scent and sound and time aligned.
A space that hears you, speaks you true,
Not perfect—but perfectly you.
