Bracken Village Market Days

My second Saturday market at Bracken Village was a warm one, but a lot of fun. Now that I’ve cooled off from relaxing under the shady trees I can evaluate my time there.

Market set-up near the gazebo.

Amazing. Kind. Peaceful. Friendship. Support. These are all words I would use to also describe the day. The market neighbors were so kind and I loved their work. Every time I go to a market, I swear I must end up buying more from my tent neighbors than I make in sales. I’m not made at it, though!

Starting to set up the painting table.

Of all the markets I’ve been to so far, I like the ones that have purpose in their place than just a parking lot. The parking lot ones are also fine, but I found like hanging under some trees with the grass below, shady spots around for patrons to mingle and linger make for a great atmosphere. That’s what you’ll find at Bracken Village.

Not to mention, the organizers are literally the sweetest. I love watching their posts leading up to the event about how they are getting the grounds ready to welcome the community. If you ever get the chance to visit, it’s the 4th Saturday every month until October. I hope to see you out there!
