The summer months in south Texas can be harsh, especially for small businesses that rely on getting to the market (who likes to pay for shipping anymore?). With temperatures nearly hitting 100 F towards the end of the market, we are WARM - especially the patrons who come out to support our dreams.

I was thankful this past Saturday for an indoor event, thanks to Bonita Market’s organization. We brought the festive vibes to the residents and the community in central San Antonio. We had the tunes, we had the vibes, we had the support! I met new vendor friends that I’ll see again later this Fall and reconnected with old vendor friends from markets past.

There were so many good things here that I absolutely went home with more things that I sold, and I’m not even mad about it. I might start trading at this point!

Thankful for the crowd and great conversations. What a way to kick off the rest of the year!
